    These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between N.P. AKAMAS TAXI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and you, the customer (“you,” “client,” or “passenger”). By booking with us, accessing our website (akamastaxi.com), or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please refrain from using our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, with changes taking effect upon posting on our website.

  1. Scope of Services
    We provide airport transfer services, including scheduled transportation to and from designated locations, flight monitoring, and vehicle selection based on passenger requirements. We reserve the right to decline bookings for reasons such as lack of availability, non-compliance with these Terms, or unsafe or disruptive behavior.
  2. Right to Refuse Service and Legal Compliance
    We reserve the right to refuse service at our sole discretion, including in cases of inappropriate, unsafe, or illegal behavior. Any observed breach of Cypriot or EU law during service will be reported to local authorities. Customers are fully responsible for their own conduct and any resulting legal consequences.
  3. Booking and Payment Terms
  • Bookings must be made through our website or via direct contact.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Payments are accepted in Euros (EUR).
  • A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation (e.g., email, message).
  • Incomplete or fraudulent payments may lead to cancellation without notice or liability.
  • All payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in the Refund Policy.
  1. Customer Responsibilities
    Customers must:
  • Provide accurate and complete booking details.
  • Arrive on time at the pickup point.
  • Select a suitable vehicle based on the total number of passengers and luggage.
  • Follow driver instructions and behave respectfully throughout the journey.

Failure to comply may result in denied service without a refund.

  1. Limitation of Liability
    To the extent permitted by law, N.P. AKAMAS TAXI is not liable for:
  • Personal injury, loss, or damage unless caused by gross negligence.
  • Missed flights or disruptions caused by delays due to traffic, weather, or external events.
  • Medical emergencies (we may assist in contacting emergency services but do not offer medical care).
  • Alternative travel arrangements where our services cannot be fulfilled.
  • Any indirect or consequential losses.

Services are provided “as-is,” without warranties.

  1. Privacy and Data Protection
    We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data is collected and processed only as necessary for providing services and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Data is not shared with third parties except as legally required or essential to the service.
  2. Vehicle Substitution Rights
    We reserve the right to substitute the booked vehicle with an equivalent or larger vehicle, subject to availability, at no additional cost to the customer. Any substitute vehicle will meet or exceed the passenger and luggage requirements of the original booking.
  3. Modifications to Terms
    We may modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
  4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be exclusively resolved in Cypriot courts. By using our services, you consent to this jurisdiction.

Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellations by Customer
  • More than 24 hours before pickup: Refundable minus a 5% administrative fee.
  • Within 24 hours of pickup: Generally non-refundable unless approved by us in exceptional cases.
  • No-shows: No refund and may result in a refusal of future service.
  1. Flight Cancellations and Rescheduling
    We monitor flight statuses. Customers must inform us promptly about cancellations. Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
  2. Refund Process
    Refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method. Administrative fees (5%) are non-refundable.
  3. Booking Modifications
    Changes (pickup time, location, or vehicle) must be requested at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to confirmation. Additional charges may apply.

    If we must cancel due to unforeseen events (e.g., weather, unavailability), a full refund will be issued. We may assist with alternative arrangements but are not liable for further losses.

Service Fulfillment

  1. Description
    We offer pre-arranged airport transfers. A booking is only confirmed upon full payment. Service details will be provided in your confirmation.
  2. Flight Monitoring and Driver Contact
    We monitor flight arrival times. The driver’s contact information is shared approximately 12 hours before pickup.
  3. Waiting Time Policy
    A 45-minute grace period starts from the actual landing time of your flight. After this, a €20 fee applies per 15-minute increment, rounded up to the nearest quarter-hour.
    Examples:
  • 10 minutes extra = €20
  • 20 minutes = €40
  • 35 minutes = €60
  1. Delays Due to External Factors
    While N.P. AKAMAS TAXI strives for punctuality, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of delays where possible. You must remain at the pickup location and be available when the driver arrives. We are not liable for missed connections or appointments resulting from such delays.
  2. Customer Delays & No-Shows
    If delayed, notify the driver immediately. Extended delays may incur fees or rescheduling. No-shows will not receive refunds and may be refused future service.
  3. Vehicle Selection and Charges
  • Customers must select a vehicle suitable for their group size and luggage.
  • All individuals, including babies and small children, count as passengers for legal and safety purposes.
  • If the chosen vehicle is inadequate, and a different one is required, the full cost of the replacement vehicle will be charged.
  • Child seats and booster seats are available upon request and may incur additional charges based on quantity and type. These must be requested during booking to ensure availability.
  1. Safety and Conduct
    Seat belts must be worn by all passengers. Disruptive, unlawful, or unsafe behavior may result in immediate termination of service and possible police involvement. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
  2. Limitation of Liability
    We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages except in cases of gross negligence. Passengers waive claims related to personal injury or property loss during service use, unless otherwise required by law.
